Chef & Owner —

Gina Genshlea

Revolution began with family. Gina Genshlea is a first generation American with strong ties to her father’s native country, Italy. She grew up on a farm in South Sacramento where she learned to love hard work. She helped raise livestock, watched her grandfather cure prosciutto & coppa, jar olives, grow most of her family’s vegetables, & made Italian red wine in their driveway. The hard work that goes into owning a business is a natural fit given her upbringing.

The restaurant and winery community is like a family—everyone has a few adorable quirks but they are a strong community built on high standards and a lot of sweat and aching muscles. When she’s not working Gina likes to garden, spend time with family, & travel to discover new places & food.
