We believe that good wine tells a story. Our wine celebrates the diversity of our farms, community, & city. Our grapes are hand-harvested from local vineyards & brought to our winery in the heart of the city, on 29th & S Streets in Sacramento.

Our Process
Our first vintage was in 2005. From then, we began to make low-intervention wines that showcase the vineyards and terroir. Our winemaking team works with vineyards in a 60-mile radius of our winery and chooses varieties based on terroirs that surround us.
Colleen Clothier
After moving away for college, Sacramento local, Colleen, knew she wanted to work in the wine industry. Upon moving home, she started as a server after Joe and Gina reluctantly gave her a job, and worked her way up to the Director of Winemaking over the past 11 years.
Colleen's style of winemaking showcases the grape and vineyards. She has a low-intervention style that lets the vineyards speak for themselves. “We like to showcase the hardworking farmers and vineyard managers. We aim to let the grapes speak for themselves and we like to make wine that sparks a conversation.”

Samuel Wharton
Texas native Samuel landed in Sacramento in 2009 after spending time in Iowa, Boston, Austin, and Chicago. He quickly discovered a passion for wine and began volunteering in Revolution Wines' tasting room just before they relocated from their original location on P St.
After filling many roles at Revolution while learning about winemaking, he eventually interned in the cellar for two harvests. In 2016 he filled the Winemaker role full time.
